Brent Franczuz... VICTORIOUS.... in his Pro Debut
MFCWINDSOR'S Brent Franczuz was impressive in his Pro MMA Debut this weekend in Montreal against
Cyril Robert (0-1) of Montreal at UGC SURVIVOR at the 135lbs Featherweight Division
Brent stopped Cyril 1:52sec of the 1st round. Brent opened up with an onslought of strikes on the ground
before catching Cyril by submission and winning the fight by rear naked choke. Brent now moves to 1W-0L.
The fight took place Saturday Night at the Claude Bouchard Sports Complex Arena
Members of Maximum Fitness Centre's Kids program participated this past weekend at St. Clair College
on Saturday...

Brent had a great showing at the XCC 30 "Battle for the Belts" On Saturday night however due to exhaustion
the ringside doctor was forced to stop the fight after the second round. Brent was battling a illness as
well as a injured kneee
on top of having to cut 16 pounds in four days prior to the weighin's.

Brent will be back in the cage in the near future.
AUGUST 9th, 2009
5 members of MFCWINDSOR (TEAM MAXIMUM) were in Ottawa this past weekend competing in the
2009 CAWA/FILA Canadian Grappling Tournament.
Canadian World Team Trials local results are as follows:
Corey Lee 84kg division (On. Champion) - 3rd Place (Bronze Medal)
Jeff Thomas 60kg division - 3rd Place (Bronze Medal)
Brent Franczuz 66kg division 5th Place
Chadd Lee 74kg division - 3W-2L
Josh Taveirne 84kg division - 2W-2L
